LTS series automatic water softener is a kind of water softening system jointly researched and produced by the engineers of our company and Autotrol Corporation, which include multi-port valve and multi-valve water softening systems.

[multi-port valve system]
1. General:
Multi- port valve is a kind of valve designed with several passages in the same valve body. The controller will give instructions to the multi-port valve based on the pre-set program and then multi-port valve will automatically open or close each valve to realize the operation, backwashing, regeneration and forward washing procedures of the system. The multi-port valve system mainly consists of multi-port valve, controller, resin tank and salt tank.
2. Scope of Application:
The equipment may be widely applied in the production of softened water in both industrial and civil sectors,such as: feed water of boiler, makeup water for heat supply and air-conditioning system and high quality domestic water etc.

[Multi-valve system]
Due to the limitation by the diameter of the multi-port valve, when the outlet water flow rate is bigger than 50t/h, the multi-port valve system will see its disadvantages including complicated conditions and increase of both costs and accidents, so at this time, the multi-valve system is recommended
The multi-valve system is mainly composed of several automatic valves (hydraulic drive, pneumatic and electric drive), controller, resin tank and salt tank. The controller will give separate instructions to each automatic valve based on the pre-set program to open or close each valve passage to complete each procedure in the operation and regeneration process.
The outstanding characteristics of the multi-valve system are flexible operation conditions and easy adjustment and control. The regeneration may be performed in both downstream and upstream and avoid the disadvantages of the multi-port valve that several tanks shall be used under the big flow rate due to its small inlet diameter (normally less than 3”). With the use of 4” automatic valve, a multi-valve system with single tank may have the water treatment capacity of over 50t/h.
