[Equipment overview]
SQ type automatic mechanical filter requires no electricity, no valves
and no management. There are no backwashing system and water towers
outside the equipment. When the suspended substances at the upper
part of the filter medium layer rises, the water filtration velocity
decreases gradually and the water level gradually increases to the
specified height (negative pressure) to form the siphon action, a
few minutes later, the water flow will change the direction to flow
upward along with the water from the head water tank for backwashing;
when the water head tank reaches the lowest level, the air inlet will
be terminated and the siphon action stops, then the water flow will
restore to original direction quickly. The equipment will have no
future problems after being put into operation and features saving
of power, water and labor cost. The equipment may be applied in the
automatic engineering project.
