 [Equipment overview]
The equipment is located before the ion exchanger to play a role in
removing the suspended solids in raw water with the outlet water meeting
the requirement of ion exchanger; the equipment may also be used for
purposes with similar requirements.
The equipment is a vertical cylindrical vessel with ellipse heads
at both top and bottom; there are three supporting columns at the
bottom of the equipment; the inner surfaces of the body part and pipes
are coated with high-strength anti-corrosion protection layer; the
equipment is filled with quartz sand (or anthracite) filter mediums
of different sizes; at the top is the water inlet distribution device
and the lower part is the arch perforated plate; compressed air pipe
is also equipped for purpose of loosening up the filtering medium
layers during backwashing. The equipment is also furnished with pipes
and valves for water inlet, water outlet, backwash water inlet and
drainage, water inlet and outlet sampling pipes and valves, sampling
tank and pressure gauges on the external front side of the equipment.
