[Equipment
overview]
GZG series steel self-cleaning high-efficiency water filter is one
of the products jointly developed by our company and Chinese Academy
of Physics Engineering featuring reasonable structure, reliable performance,
good self-cleaning effect and convenient maintenance and operation,
which is the upgraded product based on the traditional filter (use
particle filter media as the medium) . The equipments have been widely
applied in many industrial sections including metallurgical, petrochemical,
coal mining, paper-making and power plants etc.
[Structure features]
1. Overall structure:
The equipment is vertical cylindrical structured. The equipment is
furnished with differential pressure control instruments at the front
side and backwashing driving device at the top; the tank body is divided
into upper and lower parts with the upper part installed with stainless
steel filter column and the lower part installed with sewage discharge
sucker and sewage discharge pipes. The water enters the filter from
the bottom and flows through the filter column to be filtered and
the filtered clean water flows out from the outlet pipe to the consumption
points. All the impurities and filtering slag will be discharged out
of the filter through the sucker, sewage discharge pipe and the sewage
discharge valve during the backwashing process, while the settled
sludge at the bottom of the filter will be discharged out through
the manual discharge pipe.
All the filter columns furnished for the equipment are made of high
quality stainless steel. The filter column may produced by winding
and welding the trapezoid sectioned stainless steel wires on the framework
for filtration precision below 1.0mm. The gap between two adjacent
steel wires will be the filtering gap to form a V zone facing the
direction of water flow to intercept the particles with size bigger
than the gap. The V-zone also has appropriate release angle in order
to remove the filtering residue smoothly during the backwashing process.
For requirement of filtration accuracy of above 1.0mm, different types
of filter columns may be designed and produced as per the consumer's
requirements for the treated water quality.
2. Self-cleaning function:
The equipment can utilize the filtered water for cleaning of the filter
column automatically. When the backwash mechanism is actuated, the
sewage discharge sucker will contact with the water inlet of the filter
column to make it exposed to the atmosphere, at this time, the pressurized
water will flush the pores on the filter column in the reverse direction
to the filtering to flush away the pollutants and impurities on the
inlet of the filtering holes and then discharged out of the equipment
through sewage discharge sucker and discharge pipe.
3. Continuous water supply function:
The water supply from the equipment will not be interrupted during
the backwash process. The filter is installed with several filter
columns inside and as the quantity of the filter columns far exceeds
the quantity of sewage discharge sucker, so the water supply amount
from the filter can still meet the consumption requirement of the
user even during the backwashing, thus achieve the uninterrupted water
supply during the backwash period.
With installation of several filter columns in the equipment, the
filtering space is fully utilized and the volume of the filter is
greatly reduced. Considering the requirement for uninterrupted water
supply and reduction of the resistance loss of the filter, the effective
filtering area of the filter column inside the equipment is normally
2.5 – 6.5 times the section area of the filter inlet.
