[Applicable
conditions]
LTZ series gravity integrated water purifier is a kind of integrated
water purification equipment comprising the modified throat pipe furnished
with shrinking neck, grid, folding plate and hydraulic reaction device,
which put together the flocculation, clarification and filtration
processes into one compact package reasonably. The equipment is capable
of purifying the common surface water to potable water meeting the
sanitary standard. The equipments are mainly applied for improving
the potable water quality in the vast rural areas, townships,farms,
army barracks and small and medium enterprises; it may be also used
in the industrial water softening process, water demineralization
process as well as in the purification process of neutral production
wastewater for removal of suspended solids, colloids and impurities.
This filter is normally applicable for treatment of raw water with
turbidity no more than 500mg/l and the short-time turbidity of raw
water of 1000 mg /l is permitted. The turbidity of the outlet water
from the purifier is less than 3 mg/l with treatment capacity of single
set reaching 5 - 200 m3/h.
[Adopted process]
1. Mixing part: Komax static pipe mixer is used ( when the water purifier
is a bit far from the water source, it’s better to add coagulant before
the mixer to improve the coagulation efficiency, but the chemical
shall be dosed through pressure)
2. Reaction part: Use of modified throat pipe, grid and folding plate
for water circulation reaction;
3. Clarifying parts: Use of the water clarification process for contact
filtering and separation of the suspended substances featuring sludge
circulation separation and sludge contact filtration and clarification
through polyethylene plate or tube;
4. Filtering part: use of polystyrene filtering bead layers for filtration
5. Flushing part: use of multi-nozzle fixed jet flow flushing system;
the flushing will performed with adequate agitation to avoid possible
synchronous condition brought by the rotary flushing to ensure that
the filtering beads will be cleaned completely so that the malfunction
of the equipment will not occur
6. Startup part: use of flushing aid startup pipe to flush up the
settled sludge at the bottom of the equipment within a few seconds
after the valve is opened so that the sludge will be quickly restored
to normal circulation operation.
7. Sludge discharge part: use of fast opening valve to ensure the
efficiency of sludge discharge and reduce the water loss.
[Main characteristics]
1. Enhanced flocculation process:
The water purifier applies the rolling flocculation process combining
the Komax pipe mixing reaction and traditional hydraulic reaction
processes to facilitate the enlarging of flock and effective clarification
in the slope plate area, which can help the improvement of water quality;
2. No moving parts:
The fixed jet flow flushing pipe with water supplied by the water
pump is applied for the flushing of the polystyrene filter beads layers
with no moving parts so that the daily maintenance and management
workload is lessened as compared with the rotary flushing equipment
and it is impossible that the water will be polluted by the oil.
3. Structure of the purifier makes the assembling and disassembling
very easy:
In order to bring convenience to the users for possible maintenance
and cleaning of the equipment during the long-term operation, all
the connections for the top cover of water purifier, Komax pipe mixing
reactor and the jet flow flushing pipes inside the purifier use the
flanges and thread connectors to facilitate the assembling or disassembling;
4. Facilitating the management by user:
In order to the meet the requirement of the users for intermittent
operation of the equipment, when the pump is stopped at night, before
restoring the equipment to operation, open the flushing aid startup
pipe and valve for several seconds and the equipment may quickly restores
to normal operation. In order to prevent mistakes during installation
and operation, different pipes, valves and sampling pipes (part) are
painted with different colors for distinction: color for clean water
valve, flushing valve and clean water sampling pipe - blue; color
for primary filtering water valve, settled water sampling pipe - yellow;
color for sampling pipe in the reaction area - brown; color for sludge
discharge valve and sampling tube in return flow area - black.
5. Antirust measures for sanitation:
The inner walls of the water purifier and the surfaces of all inside
metal parts are coated with two layers of non-toxic antirust paint
to ensure the safety of water.
